Tired Of Overpaying For Software and Subscription / Cloud Based Software?
I really dislike the subscription / cloud based software control freaks at all the corporate software companies. So If you’re tired of overpaying for subscription based software and all the big brother spying and collecting your personal information and data then I encourage you to look into the following open source software, operating systems and alternative search engines and web browsers listed on this page.
This is not an all inclusive list by any means but it should be enough to get your workflow and freedom back up to speed.
Alternative Operating Systems & Web Browsers:
If your tired of your operating system leaking your activities, data and personal information like a sieve, then you should seriously look into using Linux. Linux Operating System is a Free Operating System that can and IMHO should replace your current OS. Linux just works like an Operating System should. There is a ton of free software that typically comes in each distro. There are many linux distributions to choose from so I’ll include a few of the most popular. The first four have server counter parts so be sure to download the desktop iso unless you need to build a server, you will have to burn the iso file to a cd / dvd or make a bootable usb stick.
